Is this where I'm supposed to tell my life story?
I started out as a child...
I have been a native of Ohio my entire life, and have lived in most parts of the Buckeye State. I
currently reside in Dayton, Ohio, where I work as an administrator in the Human Services field,
working with adults with disabilities.
And then...
I've had an interest in writing since I was in high school, and have written numerous short stories,
articles, reviews and op-ed pieces.  Writing my first novel came about from a challenge I made to
myself to either write this story I had in mind, or stop talking about it.
Good things happen when you least expect them
Writing the book was one thing, but I never thought of pursuing publication until a few friends read
my manuscript and convinced me that I should try to get it published.  Always eager to embrace
new challenges, I began sending out inquiries, and received enough rejection notices equal to a
medium-sized tree.  Thank goodness for the nice folks at PublishAmerica for giving me a chance!
